Have a Great Customer Service Plan

It is very important to have a first-class customer service plan whenever you set yourself up as a virtual assistant. Existing clients will be so pleased with what they get that they will come back again and again and will tell everybody else how good your service is, leading to more clients who will, in turn, be very impressed right from the beginning.

The Takeaway Coffee Principle!

Is great customer service difficult to achieve? Here is what I always use; it’s my “Takeaway Coffee Principle!” It sounds a little strange I know, but shortly you will discover what customer service has in common with Starbucks!:

What the Heck are Backlinks?

Any website owner who has ever gotten to any of the technical details of their website has come across the term “Backlinks”.

In the world of search engine optimization, or SEO, the term is thrown around a lot and often is not well explained.

What I want to try to do is just take the mystery out of it, by putting it into the form of an analogy.

Creating a page on a business website that features the employees does seem like a no-brainer, but it is really often overlooked.

I think what web owners fail to understand is that they need to see their website as if it was really a “doorway” into their physical location.

If a customer walked into their store, they would be greeted by one of those people, enter into a dialogue and start getting to know them. And through that they begin to feel that they are in the right place and will be taken care of.

This getting to know the staff, either personally or through a webpage, helps the visitor develop trust and confidence in the business, and that is absolutely essential in turning them into customers.

An indirect benefit of doing this is that it makes the staff feel as if their value to the business is being publicly recognized which makes them feel more a part of the business. And it builds employee loyalty which is something that no business owner can do enough of.
